The Sudanese Population Network (SPN) is the first population and reproductive health network established in the Sudan . It was initiated by group of committed leaders and organizations sharing a common vision of better health for all in Sudan . The mission of SPN is to create the required space for leaders to assist in the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the implementation of the plan of action of the ICPD-94, ICT4D “Information Communications Technologies for Development” and reaching the National goals of Sudan. The main goal of (SPN) is to promote and strengthen the concept and the status of population and reproductive health in Sudan through coordination and collaboration between the members and all other institutions related to population and reproductive health, nationally, regionally and globally. The network carries the pertinent task of facilitating capacity building, joint discussions, national forums and dissemination of updated information to enable different stake holders to advocate and contribute to the implementation of these plans and goals. We at the SPN believe in the value of experience sharing, lesson learning and best practices as means of strengthening the role of our members as partners in achieving MDGs and national goals pertaining to improved RH.
